The Accent Reduction Center offers a full evaluation of your accent as it compares to the Standard American English Accent. Upon enrollment, you will be given access to our online assessment. You will record yourself in a 3-part evaluation which will instruct you to:

• Read 60 words and putting those words into simple sentences
• Read a passage provided
• Provide a 3-5 minute spontaneous speech sample on given topics

Once your evaluation is complete, it will be sent to one of our certified American trainers for analysis. Within 3 days you will receive a written report which will provide detailed descriptions of your specific pronunciation errors as well as assessment in the areas of intonation, rate of speech, word and sentence stress, and linking abilities. This report will then be used to outline a customized course to address your errors.
